Chris Athens

 FOUNDER 

Chris Athens was a renowned mastering engineer with over 30 years of experience. His Grammy Award nominations include Album of the Year and Record of the Year for his work with Drake on Views, Scorpion, and “God’s Plan.” He also received three Latin Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best Engineered Album for Rosalía’s El Mal Querer and C. Tangana’s El Madrileño.

Chris began his career at Sony Music Studios, then spent 13 years as a Senior Mastering Engineer at Sterling Sound in New York City. In 2012, he founded Chris Athens Masters.

Known for his extraordinary ears, technical excellence, and insatiable passion for music, Chris was trusted by artists, producers, and labels around the world.
